The term 'psychotherapy' covers a range of approaches and methods ranging from one-to-one talking sessions to therapies that use techniques such as role-play or the arts to help explore emotions.  Psychotherapy can be short or long term.  

How Can Psychotherapy Help?

Psychotherapy offers a safe, caring, supportive and confidential space, where you can talk openly about any difficulties, and explore how past experiences may be impacting on your life in the present. 

Psychotherapy can enable you to make sense of your thoughts and feelings, increase self-awareness and help you to understand where you may be stuck in negative patterns that are preventing you from living a more fulfilling life.

A reflection on where you are now can be useful in determining where you want to be and what changes you may wish to make.

Psychotherapy is not about me giving you the answers.  Each person is unique.  I see it as my role to help you find the path that is right for you.
